   January 24, 2007 - Web Page and Pick Up after your Pets Committees formed.

  March 18, 2007 – George Arthur to lead hike at Valley Falls for Vernon Greenways Volunteers.

April

  April 21, 2007 - Annual Earth day clean-up of trails in conjunction with Parks and Rec.

May

  May 5, 2007 – Begin “Pick Up after your Pets (PUP) Project” at Valley Falls Park.  This project will educate dog owners as to why they should pick up after their pets on the trail system.

   May 12, 2007 - PUP Project continues at Church St. parking lot. Noon - 4PM.

   May 15, 2007 - Vernon Greenways Volunteers Annual Spring Kick-Off Meeting at the Teen Center. Guest Speaker: Ray MacMath, Vernon Park Ranger.  Coffee, Tea, and Desert to be served.  7PM - 8PM

   May 17, 2007 - PUP Project continues at Dart Hill South Park. Noon - 4PM 

   May 29, 2007 - Prepare Braille signs for re-installation on the Braille Trail.  2PM

   May 31, 2007 - Braille Trail spring setup and maintenance session.  Braille sign installation.  Removal of weeds and general trail maintenance. 9AM at Valley Falls

June

   June 2, 2007 - Trail Days Bike and Hike. Church Street parking lot. Sponsored by Vernon Parks and Recreation Department. Door prizes, give aways, and more.  9AM.

   June 6, 2007 - Vernon Greenways Volunteers hike at Risley Pond Trails led by George Arthur. 6PM

   June 14, 2007 - Dart Hill North clean-up and weeding. First of three sessions. 7:30AM.

   June 23, 2007 - Dart Hill North clean-up and weeding. Second of three sessions. 9AM.

   July 2, 2007 - Dart Hill North clean-up and weeding. Third of three sessions. 9AM.

August

   August 14, 2007 - Dispensing free Rails to Trails Appreciation Map bandana.  Church Street parking lot. First of two sessions.

   October 16, 2007 - Annual Vernon Greenways Volunteers Banquet. Dinner and brief review of 2007 events.  Camp Newhoca. 6 PM  to 8 PM

   October 17 - 19 & 22, 2007- Assist Parks and Rec in building steps at Camp Newhoca.  9:30 AM
